Monterey Transport

The Monterey Peninsula Airport is connected by three airlines (American Eagle, America West and United Express) via international and domestic flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Denver and Las Vegas.

Amtrak, the nearest train station is situated in Salinas.
There is a regular shuttle service connecting the centre of Monterey with the train and bus stations.

Free Downtown Trolley
A free shuttle service operating during peak visitor times, between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day in summer and during major holidays. It runs from 9am-6.30pm following a circular route from downtown Monterey to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
